Biography
Hij is a 20 year old grime supporter who passionately supports the pushing of Grime music in England and beyond to current and new fans. A fan since 2003, he became increasingly frustrated towards the end of 2007 at the lack of representation of grime music on the internet and set about creating various websites with the intention of pushing the grime sound forward.
The Grimepedia
The Grimepedia is located at http://www.grimepedia.co.uk and is the site you are currently surfing. The Grimepedia is designed to be a place to gather and input information on anyone connected to the grime scene, whether its a load of information on Wiley, the Godfather of grime or information on an amateur MC from Ipswich- there is a place for it all.
The Grime Forum
The grime forum is located at http://www.grimeforum.com . Hij, who was previously a resident of the RWD Forum decided with the team that he had recruited while creating the Grimepedia, that a forum that was totally dedicated to grime was required to increase the credibility of Grime's online presence. The grime forum was created during the month of January 2008 and immediately required a new server to be invested in due to the demand and strain on the site because of its immediate popularity. It now sits on a new server and is arguably the most popular grime forum on the net.
Grime News
This site is currently under development but will eventually be a place for people to catch up on the latest news in the scene in regards to new cds dropping, clashes or even radio timetables.
Grime Store
Ever working and always looking to find new ways to plug grime music, the Grime Store will be on its way very shortly, stocking CD's at a more reasonable price for fans.
Events
Although having invested all his money in the websites Hij and his 'Grime Network' brand are heavily associated and cross promote with the 'Butterz Events' organised by Elijah. These events are heavily DJ based and more can be found out by going to Elijah's page.
